Daylong job fair held at IUB

A daylong job fair organised by the Office of Career Guidance and Placement (CGP) of Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB) was held Wednesday. 

Rashed Chowdhury, chairman of the Board of Trustees, inaugurated the fair as the chief guest, said a press release. This year, IUB is celebrating its 25th anniversary and has organised the biggest career fair ever. 

A total of 49 multinational and national companies and organisations participated in the job fair, the release said. Prof Omar Rahman, vice-chancellor; Prof Milan Pagon, pro-vice chancellor; Md Abdullah Iqbal, deputy director of CGP, spoke during the inaugural ceremony.
