CU provides jobs to two

The Chittagong University authorities have appointed two family members of two victims who lost their lives in a stampede during the qulkhwani of former Chittagong city mayor ABM Mohiuddin Chowdhury on December 18.

The appointees are Shubhankar Das, brother of victim Dipankar Das, who was a history student of CU, and Rimi Deb, wife of one Liton Deb. They were respectively appointed as office assistant at the arts faculty's dean office and as attendant at CUCSU office.
