Ctg sawmill worker dies from electrocution

A sawmill worker died from electrocution and his fellow was injured in their workplace in Chittagong city’s Bakalia area yesterday.

The deceased is Md Jakir, 24, and the injured is Siraj, 20, said police at Chittagong Medical College Hospital.

They were electrocuted when they come in touch with a live electric cable at Afsana Sawmill near Wapda gate, said the police.

Siraj is undergoing treatment at the hospital.
