Cop found hanging in Ctg

An Assistant Sub-inspector (ASI) of Chittagong Metropolitan Police (CMP) was found hanging at his quarter inside CMP Police Lines yesterday.

ASI Kalenjoy Chakma, 35, of Dighinala of Khagrachari district, allegedly committed suicide following a family feud, said police.

He was pronounced dead at Chittagong Medical College Hospital, said CMCH police.

The body was sent to CMC morgue for an autopsy. A case was lodged in this connection.
