Chinese education exhibition held

The Yunnan Higher Education Exhibition 2018 was held at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Novo Theatre in the capital yesterday.

The daylong exhibition was inaugurated by Social Welfare Minister Rashed Khan Menon and organised by Yunnan Provincial Department of Education, China. 

A total of 16 universities of Yunnan province took part in the exhibition.

It is part of a "Belt and Road" project, initiated by the Chinese government to develop mutual collaboration and stability among its neighbouring countries.

The organisers say students can avail full scholarship by enrolling in universities of China.

The exhibition offered assistance in networking for universities and education agents and was followed by a seminar.
