Md Iftekhar Rasul, former divisional engineer of erstwhile Bangladesh Telegraph & Telephone Board (BTTB), now BTCL, passed away on October 25 in the capital, says a press release.

He is survived by his wife, two daughters, and two sons.      

Rasul, who was in his mid-70s, had served for BTTB for more than 30 years. He was one of the founder members of Retired Officers Welfare Association, BTTB, (ROWATEL).

Rasul was born in Nandail of Mymensingh.
