BRTC advance Eid ticket sale starts today

Bangladesh Road Transport Corporation (BRTC) will start its Eid special service from June 13 and the advance sale of  tickets will start today.

To ease journey of holidaymakers, the state-run transport service will deploy 904 buses. Of them, 475 will be operated from Dhaka, Gazipur and Narayanganj while the rest will be operated from different districts and upazilas. Another 54 buses will be kept on standby to meet emergency demands.

The decision came from an Eid preparatory meeting at BRTC head office in Dhaka in presence of Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader.

As per a BRTC circular, advance tickets will be sold from its depots at Motijheel, Joarsahara, Kalyanpur, Mohammadpur, Gabtali, Mirpur, Phulbaria, Gazipur, Narayanganj and Narasingdi.
