BCL men lock BRUR engr office for misspelling 'Bangabandhu'

A letter issued by the engineering office of Begum Rokeya University, Rangpur (BRUR) had apparently misspelled Bangabandhu's name.

Enraged by the mistake, Bangladesh Chhatra League activists of the university locked the office around 10:00am yesterday.

Though the letter, seeking manpower for maintenance of electrical equipment at two residential halls and library, was resent to the office for correction, it was issued again with the same mistakes, alleged BCL activists.

The university authorities said they were looking into the matter.
