Bangladeshi publishes photobook on Botswana's ex-president

Bangladeshi photojournalist Monirul Bhuiyan Shahin has published a photobook on former Botswana president Lt Gen Dr Ian Khama, covering 10 years of his presidency till he stepped down on March 31.

Titled “Khama -- Through the lens”, the 232-page book is a compilation of the pictures of the fourth president of Botswana. Khama launched the book in Gaborone on May 28.

Shahin left Bangladesh in 2000. Before joining Press Photo in 2009, he worked for a newspaper in Botswana for seven years. Currently he lives in Botswana with his wife and two children.
