Badrul Alam new Appellate Division registrar

Chief Justice Syed Mahmud Hossain yesterday appointed Munshiganj’s Chief Judicial Magistrate Md Badrul Alam Bhuiyan as registrar of the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court.

SC Registrar General Md Zakir Hossain yesterday issued a circular to this effect.

The new registrar took over the office yesterday afternoon, SC’s Special Officer Md Saifur Rahman told The Daily Star.

The post fell vacant on March 4 when Md Zakir Hossain, the then registrar of the apex court, was appointed SC’s registrar general.
