9 Rab men fined, court says in full verdict
Nine Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) members convicted in Narayanganj seven-murder case were fined from Tk 25,000 to Tk 50,000, according to the full verdict of the case that released today.
Public Prosecutor Wazed Ali Khokon informed this while briefing reporters on the premises of a Narayanganj court, reports our local correspondent.
Meanwhile, Nur Hossain, one of the death row convict in the case, was produced before Narayanganj District and Sessions Judge's Court today in connection with eight other cases.

On January 16, the court handed down death penalty to 26 people including Nur Hossain, sacked commanding officer of Rab-11 Tareque Sayeed Mohammad and 15 other elite force members, and also jailed nine Rab men for various terms.
Seven people, including the then NCC panel mayor Nazrul Islam and senior lawyer Chandan Sarker, were abducted from Dhaka-Narayanganj link road on April 27, 2014. Later, their bodies were found floating in the Shitalakkhya river.
