9 killed in road accidents

At least nine persons were killed and seventeen injured in road accidents across three districts in last two days.

In Sirajganj, Sagaor Ali, 30, Minhaz Uddin, 22, and Sohel Hossain, 25 were killed in a collision between two trucks on Bogra-Sirajganj highway, reports our correspondent. The incident left 10 injured.

Our Bogra correspondent adds, Mohosin Ali, 55, Sadeq Ali, 60 and Shah Mahmud 40, were killed under the wheels of a covered van in Sherpur upazila. The incident injured another person.

Meanwhile in Shariatpur, Md Rahmat Hossain, 40, Naim Hossain, 25, and Idris, 60, were killed as a truck plunged into a roadside ditch in Sadar upazila on Saturday, UNB reports. Six others were hurt.
