4 held with 4,700 Yaba pills in Ctg

The Department of Narcotics Control (DNC) officials arrested four persons with 4,700 pieces of yaba tablets, worth around Tk 16.5 lakh, in railway station area in the port city early yesterday.

The arrestees are Nupur alias Sraboni, 28, of Faridpur, Anwara Begum, 45, of Teknaf, Samir Malu, 33, and Fakhrul Gazi, 44, of Gopalganj, said Shamim Ahamed, deputy director of DNC. A case was filed with Kotwali Police Station.
