27th AGM of Serve the People held

The 27th annual general meeting (AGM) of Serve the People, a non-government organisation, was held yesterday, a press release said.

Addressing the AGM, the organisation's chairperson Shahjadi Begum put emphasis on providing proper education to underprivileged girls.

Ambasadoor AKM Farooq praised Serve the People for its contribution towards girls' education and breastfeeding mothers. Syed Ahmad Faruque, secretary general of the organisation, highlighted on overall activities and read a message sent by Sir Hasan Fazle Abed.
