2,500 poor patients get free medical services
Over 2,500 poor patients received free medical consultation and necessary medicine yesterday at a free medical camp in Tangail yesterday.
Kidney Awareness Monitoring and Prevention Society (KAMPS), a voluntary healthcare giving organisation, arranged the camp to mark International Mother Language Day 2018.
A team of over 20 medical experts, led by kidney specialist Prof MA Samad, treated the poor patients of Tangail and nearby areas.
As part of the daylong programme, a discussion meeting was also held on how to prevent kidney diseases.
Chairman of KAMPS Prof MA Samad presented a keynote paper on the occasion.
