2-yr-old Chawkbazar burn victim dies
A two-year-old girl, who was burnt along with her parents and sister in a fire at their Chawkbazar house in Old Dhaka on Thursday, died this morning.
Sanjida breathed her last at High Dependency Unit (HDU) of Dhaka Medical College Hospital’s burn unit around 7:20am, reports our correspondent quoting burn unit’s resident surgeon Partha Sankar Paul.

She was undergoing treatment at the hospital with 47 percent burn injuries, the doctor said.
The three other injured family members are in critical situation, the surgeon added.
Rezaul Islam, 35, his wife Rani Akter, 25, and their two daughters Anika, 3, and Sanjida sustained burns in a fire believed to be originated from accumulated gas in their Chawkbazar house in Old Dhaka.
Anika is undergoing treatment with 26 percent burns.
