2 writers' books launched in Dubai

Urban Readers, a community initiative by Bangladeshi professionals living in UAE that promotes reading among community members, recognised award-winning conservationist and wildlife expert Dr Mohammad Ali Reza Khan and his wife, retired teacher Nurun Nahar Huda, by launching their books in a ceremony in Dubai on May 5.

Dr Reza Khan headed the Dubai Zoo from 1989 to 2014, where he became the wildlife and conservation specialist for Dubai Safari. He has 24 books and 50 publications to his credit, says a press release.

Nurun Nahar Huda served as a teacher for more than 40 years across UAE and Bangladesh, where her greatest contribution has been teaching Bangla as a second language, first in Al Ain and then in Dubai.
