The new stuff Apple has to offer
Apple events are magical for every tech enthusiast out there and luckily Apple has never let its fan base down. The latest Apple event had a lot of really interesting offerings as well.
The biggest of the bunch was the new iPhone SE. A 4 inch iPhone with internals from the iPhone 6s and a 12 megapixel camera wrapped in a shell very similar to that of the iPhone 5s the iPhone SE however doesn't have 3d touch. The 16 GB version comes at $399 and the more spacious 64 GB version comes at $499. Apple also announced a smaller 9.7 inch iPad pro with all the original iPad pro features. It also has its own smaller version of the keyboard case and all the colour options available for the bigger iPad. Both the iPhone and the iPad can be preordered from Thursday, March 24th, and units will begin shipping on the 31st of March with the 32 128 and 256GB version of the iPad being available at 599 749 and 899$ respectively. The Apple event also had announcements in the software front. A new version of iOS 9.3 was announced which is not a new OS but has bug fixes and cool new features like the night shift which changes the brightness of the display according to the time of day. Apple also announced a freely downloadable TVOS 9.2 which allows you to use Siri. Apple also addressed the legal lawsuit with the encryption fiasco. Apple has sided with the customers and has assured to safeguard their privacy. The Apple event also gave an update about its goal of reaching 100% renewable energy for production purposes which currently stands at an impressive 93%. Apple launched CareKit following up on its successful ResearchKit which supplies patients with virtual doctors.
