Islamic Finance gets new MD

Abu Zafore Md Saleh has recently been appointed as new managing director and chief executive officer of the Islamic Finance and Investment Limited (IFIL).

Prior to the new role, he was the deputy managing director of NCC Bank, IFIL said in a statement yesterday.

He also worked at Prime Bank, Dutch-Bangla Bank and One Bank Ltd in different positions.

Saleh is the vice president of Bangladesh Economic Association.

He completed his honours and master's in economics.
