Global Handwashing Day: World’s largest human image of a hand
To celebrate Global Handwashing Day, soap brand Lifebuoy attempted the Guinness World Records title for the “Largest Human Image of a Hand” yesterday.
Every year Global Handwashing Day is celebrated on 15th October. Various activities are conducted on this day to spread awareness of washing hands regularly with soap to save lives.
Lifebuoy took this initiative to create the awareness of life-saving habit of washing hands regularly with soap. More than 11,000 school students joined in this historic event, according to a press release from Lifebuoy.
On 14 October, the children gathered together along with Lifebuoy at Dhaka’s Residential Model College field wearing Lifebuoy branded t-shirts and caps to form “World’s Largest Human Image of a Hand” in a disciplined manner.
Popular singer Khayam Sanu Sandhi was present in the event as a guest. He performed live for everyone present in the event. The high officials of Unilever Bangladesh Ltd also attended the event, says the press release.
Representatives of Guinness World Records were present to directly inspect the proceedings of thw record making attempt of “World’s Largest Human Image of a Hand”.
