Ctg income tax fair starts tomorrow

A seven-day income tax fair will start in Chittagong's GEC Convention Centre tomorrow.

Mosharraf Hossain, minister for housing and public works, is scheduled to inaugurate the fair at 10am, according to the tax officials.

People can submit their tax return for 2017-18 in the fair, the officials said.

The registration for new taxpayers and re-registration for incumbent taxpayers could also be done in the e-tin booths of the fair, they said.

The taxpayers can pay taxes through e-payment and help desks will be set up there to provide necessary assistance in this regard.

Income tax could be paid in the booths of Sonali Bank and Janata Bank, the officials said.
