Bangladesh to get €500,000 from EU as flood assistance
The European Commission is providing emergency support to Myanmar and Bangladesh following floods and mudslides in both the countries.
Myanmar will receive €1million and Bangladesh €500,000, according to according to a press release of the commission.
Christos Stylianides, EU Commissioner for Humanitarian Aid and Crisis Management, said the European Union stood by the people affected by the floods both in Myanmar and Bangladesh.
