Avoid grouping, get united, Khaleda tells BNP men
BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia today called upon her party men to shun the path of grouping and get united for launching a movement against the government.
“The countrymen have been annoyed by the misdeeds of the illegal government and they will remove it from the power by giving a mass beating,” she said while exchanging views with the BNP-backed winners in the upazila elections in Khulna and Barisal divisions.
Saying no fair elections can be held under the Awami League government, the former premier said: “We have to move forward to forge a movement to ensure election under a non-party caretaker administration.”
The country is passing through a critical situation, she said adding the rate of unemployment is increasing day by day, causing a rise in the crime in the society.
“No new investment is coming. New businessmen will not be encouraged to invest here until a new government comes to power,” said the BNP chairperson.
