Ashraf for resisting cybercrimes
Awami League General Secretary Syed Ashraful Islam today called for building resistance to cybercrimes by anti-liberation forces.
"Cybercrimes have already started and we have to take the issue seriously. We all have to remain alert so that young generation will not be misled by any propaganda by the anti-liberation forces," he said at his introductory speech.
Ashraf, also the LGRD minister, was addressing a meeting of the AL Central Working Committee, the highest decision-making body of the party, at the prime minister's official residence Gono Bhaban.
Prime Minister and AL chief Sheikh Hasina chaired the meeting attended by most of the committee members.
Hasina also expressed similar view with her deputy saying that they all have to get prepared to avoid any bad situation in future.
"Cyber war has started and the anti-liberation forces are running propaganda against our independence as well as development activities conducted by the government," Ashraf said.
