PHOTOGRAPHY exhibit at IGCC
An exhibition of photographs featuring 24 photos on yoga by Rajesh Ramakrishnan is currently on at Indira Gandhi Culture Centre (IGCC). The exhibition was inaugurated by Aseem R. Mahajan, Deputy High Commissioner of India, on June 13.
The images shot by Rajesh Ramakrishnan attempt to capture the essence of yoga and how it influences our wellbeing.
The exhibition is being held as part of the commemoration of International Yoga Day on June 21.These photographs were shot in and around Dhaka and feature Anika Rabbani, a well-known yoga teacher and musician Samir Obaid among others.
Rajesh Ramakrishnan is an award-winning photographer and the managing director of Perfetti van Melle Bangladesh Ltd, has many credits to his bag as a passionate photographer.
His works have been featured in several exhibitions and publications in India and outside.
The exhibition, curated by Aninda Kabir Avik, will close on June 21.
