A decade of promoting arts and culture

October 28 marked the 10th anniversary of The Daily Star and Standard Chartered Bangladesh's Celebrating Life, which awarded some of the most promising Lyricists, Photographers and Filmmakers of the country. The event also rewarded three cultural luminaries: Sabina Yasmin, Nasir Ali Mamun and Suchanda with Celebrating Life's “Lifetime Achievement Award”. This year's programme marked the final appearance of Abrar. A. Anwar, as the CEO of Standard Chartered Bangladesh, who is now set to take up the position of Managing Director and CEO, Standard Chartered Malaysia. We provide you some snippets of the momentous occasion of Celebrating Life stepping into a decade of promoting arts and culture in Bangladesh.
