The return of Aishwarya with Jazbaa
For half a decade, Bollywood diva Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was away from the big screen. On the heels of her marriage to actor Abhishek Bachchan she became a mother. But she says she never felt she was on a long sabbatical.
The 41-year-old actress is now all set to return with Sanjay Gupta's "Jazbaa", having worked last time with Sanjay Leela Bhansali's "Guzaarish" in 2010.
Aishwarya says she is enjoying being in front of the camera again and looking forward to the release of "Jazbaa", which also stars Shabana Azmi, Irrfan Khan, Chandan Roy Sanyal and Jackie Shroff.
"So far, the experience has been great. Sanjay Gupta has been so nice. The entire cast-Irrfan, Shabana ji, Chandan, Jaggu Dada (Jackie Shroff)- everyone has been great. I am glad to be working with them. I do not feel like there has been any gap. I am really enjoying," Aishwarya said.
The film, which is set to release on October 9, is a remake of the 2007 South Korean movie "Seven Days".
The actress was here on Sunday night to walk the ramp for ace designer Manish Malhotra's show "The Empress Story" at the just concluded Amazon India Couture Week.
The former model looked resplendent in a chocolate brown floor length gown, giving little hint of being slightly unwell.
The show was also attended by her actress-mother-in-law Jaya Bachchan and other B actresses like Shabana Azmi among others.
"It is great to be in Delhi and be cheered on by so many industry friends, colleagues and my mother-in-law," she said.
