October releasing in April

Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan shared the first look of his upcoming film with Shoojit Sircar, “October”, along with the release date for the movie. Banita Sandhu will be seen opposite Varun in the film that marks the first collaboration between Sircar and Dhawan.

Sharing the image on Twitter, Varun wrote, “As October comes to an end it arrives earlier next year. #October releases on 13 th April now.@ShoojitSircar @ronnielahiri @BanitaSandhu.”

Varun looks quite scared and is running from something in the image.

Talking about the film, Varun had earlier said, “I am definitely happy and excited. What's amazing about him (Shoojit) is that he is very sure about his vision. I have met him just now, so I am trying to get into that world, understand it, and the way the film is going to breathe and feel. It's very different from anything I have done before.”

Touted to be a love story, “October” is written by Juhi Chaturvedi. The film went on the floors this month.

Varun was last seen in “Judwaa 2” - a remake of Salman Khan's 1997 hit Judwaa. It is already the third highest grosser of 2017, with a collection of Rs 137.8 crore in a month.
