3 injured as petrol bombs hurled at truck in Bogra
At least three people were injured, two of them critically, as unidentified miscreants hurled petrol bombs at a truck in Bogra Sadar upazila this evening.
Suspected blockaders threw petrol bombs at a moving truck at Nungola village around 8:00pm, said Gaziur Rahman, assistant superintendent of police in Bogra.
He added that the truck laden with furniture was going to Narayanganj from Bogra, reports our local correspondent.
The vehicle caught fire, leaving its driver Titon Miah, 40, owner of the furniture Sujan, 36, and helper Abdur Rahim, 35, said the police officer.
The injured were rushed to the Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College and Hospital. Later, Sujan and Rahim were sent to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) in critical condition, police said.
