Tisha: Caught up in a whirl ahead of Eid

Popular actress Tisha has little time on her hands. Her packed schedule all the way up to September 11 includes shoots in Dhaka ahead of Eid-ul-Azha and two Eid plays set in Cox's Bazar, where shooting is to begin soon.
“I'm very busy with TV shoots ahead of Eid. My fans missed me when I appeared in only a few plays last Eid, but this time I won't give them the chance,” Tisha told The Daily Star.
She is shooting for three six-episode Eid series – Masud Sezan's “Money is Problem”, Abul Hayat's comedy “Lajjabati Laila” and Abu Raihan's Jewel's “Beauty Boat”.
In “Money is Problem”, she plays the double role of an industrialist's daughter and a beggar. On the other hand, “Beauty Boat” is based on the story of a beauty parlour.
“I really enjoyed playing the character of a beggar,” the actress said.
Apart from this, she has finished shooting for three one-hour Eid plays.
What does she look for before she signs up for TV plays? “The script, character and standing of the director are my main criteria before signing any dramas,” she said.
About her future, Tisha said, “I don't have a career plan. I love going with the flow like a river. I want to do justice to my ventures till my last working days. But I want to leave behind some unforgettable works,” Tisha said.
Besides acting on TV, she has appeared in few movies. After her debut film “Third Person Singular Number”, she acted in television plays. Under the direction of Mostofa Sarwar Farooki, she filmed “Doob” with Bollywood superstar Irrfan Khan this year.
The talented actress also ventured into commercial films this year -- “Mental” and “Ostitto” - with Dhallywood heartthrobs Shakib Khan and Arifin Shuvo respectively.
Tisha recently signed a movie directed by Ananna Emon. Shuvo is her co-artiste in the project. Apart from this, the actress also on board for Tauquir Ahmed's “Halda”.
