Naveed Mahbub on Comedy Central

Bangladeshi comedian Naveed Mahbub has been featured in popular US-based comedy TV channel Comedy Central. The channel recently produced an eight-episode series on Asian comedians, where Naveed was the only selected Bangladeshi of the 24 participants.

Naveed, formerly an engineer by profession, had performed as a stand-up comic in the USA in the 2000s, and upon returning to Bangladesh in 2009 chose it as a career path. He founded the country's first comedy club, and also hosted a TV show. Currently, he hosts a morning radio show on ABC Radio, apart from his stand-up performances.
