Police recover two bodies in N'ganj

Police recovered two bodies from different areas of Narayanganj in last two days. 

The body of Omar Faruque, 55, who went missing on Friday afternoon, was found floating in a pond in Fatuallah yesterday, locals said.

On information, police recovered the body and sent it to Narayanganj General Hospital for autopsy, sub-inspector (SI) Russel Sheikh of Fatullah Model Police Station said.

A case was filed with Fatullah Model Police Station in this regard.

Meanwhile, the body of an unidentified woman aged around 25, was also recovered from a canal in Sonargaon upazila on Saturday.

Sub-inspector (SI) of Sonargaon Police Station Sentu Chandra Singh said, locals notified the police after they found the body floating in the canal.

The body was sent to Narayanganj General Hospital for autopsy. The woman could not be identified, however there were no injury marks on the body, the SI added.
