Prof MA Sattar Mandal has been made the vice chancellor of Bangladesh Agricultural University (BAU), Mymensingh for the next four years, says a press release.
He was also the Dean of the Faculty of Agricultural Economics and Rural Sociology and member of BAU Syndicate and Bangladesh Planning Commission.
He is also the president of the Bangladesh Agricultural Economists' Association and former senior vice-president of the Bangladesh Economic Association.
Prof Mandal did his PhD from University of London and post-doctoral studies from University of Oxford.
