BGB chief Maj Gen Abul Hossain withdrawn

Bangladesh Government has withdrawn Maj Gen Abul Hossain from the position of director general of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) and reappointed to the army.

A gazette notification of the Public Administration Ministry was issued in this regard yesterday, declaring his employment back to Armed Forces Division.

The gazette said he is being reinstated to Bangladesh Army after being removed from BGB.

However, there has been no new appointment as his replacement to the border security force.
