Ragib Ali, son indicted
A Sylhet court yesterday framed charges against industrialist Ragib Ali and his son Abdul Hye in a case filed for holding editorial posts of a daily while being fugitive.
On September 8 last year, Gias Uddin Talukder, 50 a founding member of Chhatak Upazila Press Club, filed the case as the duo were allegedly holding the positions of editor-in-chief and editor respectively of the Sylheter Dak while they were absconding in two other cases filed over grabbing of lands of Tarapur Tea Estate in Sylhet, said sources.
