Freedom fighter Asraf Ali passes away

Freedom fighter Asraf Ali passed away at Rangpur Medical College Hospital yesterday. He was 70.

He was suffering from kidney diseases. He left behind his wife, three daughters and a son.

He was buried at Munsipara graveyard with state honour following his namaz-e-janaza at Munsipara mosque in Thakurgaon town after Asr prayers.

Local socio-political leaders, including Lawmaker of Thakurgaon-1 constituency Ramesh Chandra Sen, expressed deep shock at his death.
