Cultural diversity must for dev: Bangladesh envoy in India

Bangladesh High Commissioner to India Syed Muazzem Ali said cultural diversity is imperative for development and economic growth.

He said that such diversity is also needed for leading a more fulfilling and enlightened life, said a press release on Friday. Muazzem Ali was speaking at a panel discussion titled: “Ubuntu: Cultures of the world unite”, organised by Ashoka University at New Delhi in India.

The function was also addressed by Zambian High Commissioner Judith Kangoma-Kapijimpanga, Prof Mohan Kumar from Jindal School of International Affairs and Pro-Vice Chancellor of Ashoka University Sankar Krishnan.
