Cover Story

Left in the
Lurch

Some of them were critically injured with their legs broken or hands twisted, or their kidney damaged, but they were still grateful for being alive. But lying on hospital beds, survivors of the horrifying garment factory collapse at Savar are waking up to a painful realisation. They may never be able to live a normal life.
