in a statement expressing his feeling after the Queen and Prince Philip wished him and Camilla Bowles, a divorced mother of two, well. Charles's first wife, Diana, the princess of Wales, divorced him in 1996 ending their 14-year-old "fairy tale marriage". Diana died in a car crash in Paris in 1997.
