There's so much going on, where do we stand? Young people, teens, starting to step in to the world as their own can often feel at a loss. For those of us past that period, we know it's temporary. But for some, the feeling of minuteness may appear insurmountable. They want to be heard, noticed, valued. The world may miscommunicate. The individuals react by hurting themselves. That shouldn't be. We talk to Dr Mehtab Khanam a Professor of Psychology at Dhaka University, and a practicing counsellor, about the pitfalls and the way out.
