Nano tales

Unaware
I watched my best friend standing in front of me, crying his heart out over the break up with his girlfriend. I hugged him tightly. I could feel his pain as though it was mine. Even though, I felt a slight smile flickered across my face. He does not notice. He never does. He was mine again, knowingly or unknowingly...

Freedom
I looked up. I was almost there. The barriers tried to stop me from going through, but I was determined to get out of there. I knew that I had brought this upon myself and it was too late to repent now. With one more desperate push, I made it out of my room. I closed the door behind me.

Turned tables
They watched the girl blush as she climbed up behind her beloved on his bike. A brief exchange of giggly goodbyes and then the two were off, leaving the onlookers behind sighing longingly,
“Ooh, we too want cool bikes with boyfriends…”
“Um, don't you mean the other way around?” an incredulous voice asked.
A short pause, and snickers replied- “Nah!”
