Sania Mirza gained celebrity status in her homeland when she became the first Indian woman to reach the third round of a Grand Slam tournament at the Australian Open where she took Serena Williams to three sets.

She followed that up by becoming the first Indian to win a WTA title in Hyderabad earlier this year. In a landmark year for the teenager, she achieved another distinction when she became the first woman representing India to gain a direct entry into a grand slam tournament at Roland Garros, although she bowed out in the first round.

Also this year she has managed to beat US Open Champion Svetlana Kuznetzsova Sania has been trained at the Sinette Tennis Academy, Hyderabad, under P. A. Jain and Ravi Chander. Her coach is CGK Bhupathi who is the father of Indian tennis star Mahesh Bhupati.

Sania Mirza began playing tennis at the age of six and has since gone on to become India's most famous tennis player. She is an attractive young girl in a sport where looking good is as much a part of your repertoire as playing well. She is young, effervescent and street-smart and carries herself with all the air of a pro.

Also in the parlance of times she fits the definition of 'cool.' She wears designer outfits and trendy glasses, likes listening to hip hop music (huge fan of Eminem) and confesses that she is addicted to movies (Oceans Eleven being her favorite one & Brad Pitt her favorite actor).

Sania has a long way to go to become an established professional and she more than anyone does not want to be tagged as the new Anna Kournikova. She knows that she still needs to improve but is confident that she has enough quality to be ranked amongst the top 20 in the world and win a Grand Slam title.

Sania's greatest influences include her father, Gandhi and as far as tennis is concerned she idolizes Steffi Graf.

Sania Mirza says:
· "Frankly I don't want to look like the William sisters, but I could play like them."
Did You Know?
· Sania Mirza is the first Indian woman to win a Grand Slam title when she won the doubles at Wimbledon this past year.

Need For Speed doubtless creates the best arcade cum simulation driving games. Gran Turismo tops the simulation list. But it always leaves something to be desired. The last Underground series had a nice storyline and impressive cars but the thrill of being chased by police was simply missing. That thrill is going to be added, in huge nitrous pumped doses, when the new NFS hits the scene. Company blurb names it Need For Speed Most Wanted.

It takes the previous concept of illicit street racing challenging players to become the most notorious and elusive street racer.

Basically you have to out-race rivals, evade cops and exploit hundreds of miles of open road as you make your way up the Blacklist.

Need for Speed Most Wanted also features a variety of the hottest cars that range from tuners to super cars. You can customize your ride to race against any class of vehicles.

Police pursuits are strategically planned and the end scenes are said to rival the best Hollywood chase scenes. Add to that the amazing combinations of tuner customisation and you have a most wanted game on your shopping list. No wonder they named it Most Wanted.

To become the most wanted racer, players must build up their street cred. with head-to-head races with the top drivers on the streets, as well as pull daring, evasive moves to out-run and out-fox the cops that patrol the open road.

In Open Road, Open World you rule the streets as the most notorious street racer in various regions that include edgy industrial and urban environments. In Blacklist, as players enter the world of illicit street racing, they must go up against the best street racers on the scene to earn respect and rise to the top of the Blacklist. The game also offers other options such as Rap Sheet & Performance Tuning:

NFS MW uses Next-Gen Graphical Features for the next generation console and thus delivers the next level of graphical excellence in video games. That means if you are waiting to buy or upgrade a PC then this is the game to wait for. For those of you getting married ask for a hotted up computer or game console for the dowry. It's just that good.
