Fish, Fish Everywhere

Nestled quietly at the foot of the Karnaphuli Bridge, Fisheryghat is a fish-lover's heaven. Fisheryghat provides Bangladeshis with one of the most crucial parts of their culinary delight. Different varieties of fish, caught both from the nearby river and the Bay of Bengal, are gathered and sold at Fisheryghat only to be sent off to different fish markets across the country. From pomfret to thread fin, perch to clown knifefish–fish of sweet and salt waters are here up for grab.
