The Denial of Treachery and Murder

Zahedul I Khan

It was a massacre of the most gruesome kind. The Father of the Nation had been brutally killed along with his family members and other innocents. There were little children and women including one who was pregnant. All of them murdered in cold blood. But another act of treachery was committed by the newspapers that chose to virtually deny this diabolical chapter in history. Instead, the headlines for the next few days after August 15, glorified the conspirators and masterminds of the mayhem.
