The Daily Star Strategy Master 2016
Strategy Master 2016 is a great opportunity for undergrad university students from diverse backgrounds and disciplines to collaborate and create innovative solutions to business corporation’s most pressing challenges.It is a business strategy challenge concentrating on newspaper industry.
This business strategy challenge offers the opportunity to network with corporate leaders, newspaper industry leaders and potential employers.
It is our great pleasure that, the winners will be awarded with not only crest and certificates but also the participation tickets of Bangladesh Brand Forum Leadership Summit 2016 on April 23 at Radisson Blu Water Garden Hotel Dhaka.
Where students will be able to attend different sessions of Ripa Rashid (Executive Vice President at the Center for Talent Innovation and Managing Partner for Hewlett Consulting Partners, New York),Tom Cummings (Executive Board and Senior Management Advisor, Netherlands), Sanjiv Mehta (CEO & MD, Hindustan Unilever), Alia Khan (Chair Woman, IFDC), Amitabha Chattapadhyay (The Glaxo Smithkline Chaired Professor of Corporate Innovation), Kishore Mahbubani (Dean, Professor in the practice of Public Policy, Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, NUS Singapore)
Team Structure:
- - Minimum 3 to maximum 5 teams from each university.
- - Each team consisting of 3 members
Competition process:
3 to 5 teams will be selected by university/business school/business club. They will receive the case through email and get 24 hours to prepare the solution and power point slides to present in front of adjudication panel. One team from each university will be announced as winner. It is expected that university/business school/business club will arrange that presentation event at their respective campus.
This year, the competition will be held in selected university campuses only. University selection for Strategy Master is depending on The Daily Star management's discretion.

- - Entry Tickets to BBF Leadership Summit 2016 (Each worth 25,000 BDT)
- - Winner’s Crest and certificate
Adjudication Panel:
- - Head of Marketing, The Daily star
- - One Corporate Leader
- - Respective university’s faculty member
