The Meril-Prothom Alo Star Survey and Critic Award 2002

The Meril-Prothom Alo Star Survey and Critic Award 2002 was held at the Bangladesh-China Friendship Conference Centre on May 23. This eagerly-awaited annual event was attended by a more-than-2000 strong audience, comprised of almost all the celebrated names both on and off the screen. Considered as the most prestigious award, the winners in different categories are chosen by popular vote conducted by The Prothom Alo. Hosted by Anisul Huq, the four-hour long extravaganza featured humourous skits, a dance number and a captivating piece of magic by one and only Jewel Aich.
