Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal (JSD) will scrap the digital security law and formulate a federal government if the party is voted to power.
The left-leaning party, a component of JatiyaOikyafront, stated the agenda in its manifesto for the December 30 parliamentary elections.
The JSD chief ASM Abdur Rab unveiled a 10-point election manifesto at a press conference in Dhaka today.
Addressing the press conference at Jatiya Press Club, Rab said, “Though a level-playing field is not created, we are participating in the election for the sake of the country’s people.”
This manifesto is only for JSD, not for the JatiyaOikyafront, he added.
The other points of the manifesto include:
1. Ensuring the independence of the judiciary
2. Formation of a supreme judicial council
