
The authorities of Tuba Group have started distributing wage of July and overtime bills to its workers, who went on hunger strike since July 28 demanding three-month wages and Eid bonus.
Hundreds of the workers of the Tuba Group gathered to take their due payments this afternoon at the headquarters of Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters' Association (BGMEA) at Karwan Bazar in the capital.

Delwar Hossain, owner of the factory started distributing the payments to his workers around 2:00pm.
BGMEA officials are also present there.
The decision to give salary for the month of July came at a meeting between the owners of Tuba Group and representatives of BGMEA, workers and the government at the Parliament Members Club yesterday.
Shipping Minister Shahjahan Khan and State Minister for Labour and Employment Mujibul Haque Chunnu were presented at yesterday's meeting.
However, decision on payment of the Eid bonuses and resuming production in all five factories of the group remained uncertain.
