As the world woke up today to the shocking news of the untimely death of legendary Indian actress Sridevi, confusions are on whether Amitabh Bachchan, another Bollywood great, had a premonition that something untoward was about to happen, or the Bachchan family was among the first to be informed.

The ‘Big B’ had tweeted a mysterious message late last night, much before the news of Sridevi’s death broke, which gave rise to all the confusion, reports Hindustan Times.

Amitabh Bachchan said in the tweet in Hindi, “I feel a strange restlessness [Na jaane kyun, eik ajeeb si ghabraahat ho rahi hai.].”

The comments thread on Amitabh Bachchan's tweet has been full of responses from fans informing him of his former co-star's death after the news broke.

"Talk about sixth sense," read one post.

Amitabh had worked in three films with Sridevi -- Inquilaab, Akhree Rashta, and Khuda Gawah – and also made a cameo in her successful comeback film English Vinglish.

The actress was attending the wedding of her sister-in-law’s son in Dubai when the event took place as she suffered a massive cardiac arrest.
