Voice of Business hosting webinars in full swing for students
The critical circumstances created by a silent virus called COVID 19 has changed the face of this world. Like any other developing country, Bangladesh is also struggling to cope up with the situation & it has already caused a lot of damages such as loss of lives, disruption in economic welfare and education system. Even the acknowledgement of this ferocious virus in our country has been a challenging task until now.
To tackle this sensitive situation and to divert the students' mind from the anxiousness created by this pandemic Voice of Business, a student publication house & a business club of the Faculty of Business Studies in the University of Dhaka is taking innovative steps. For years VoB has been working for the students to enhance their understanding of real-life operations. With the mission of "Empowering the leader within", VoB acts as the spokesperson of the students of the faculty and bridges the gap between the corporate world and students. Hence it has come up with a new idea of arranging webinars to make this time more productive. VoB has successfully launched two webinars titled "The Job Market: Preparation and Prospects from student Life" and "The Job Market: Career Prospects in Human Resources" on 18th May and 7th June respectively. They used Google to meet as their platform.
